We conduct technological and policy research, assessments, and review of innovative technologies, policy recommendations in waste and resource management for countries, multilateral and international corporations.

It is our firm belief that the transition to  circular economy must be driven by sound research and understanding of contextual factors, the drivers of change, and leverage point relevant to the design and implementation of impactful interventions. Thus, we leverage our institute-wide research support systems along with collaborations and networks in the region for research, even at local levels to support countries and cities’ to successfully design and implement impactful, scalable, and context-specific  systems interventions and frameworks.

Using system thinking approach, we crunch data, map system solutions, capacity needs and resources. We have extensive experience, in the region spanning over two decades in support multilateral and international organizations, international development partners, companies, international NGO’s, among others in:

  1. Conducting participatory research and baseline surveys;
  2. Infrastructure and technology assessments;
  3. Evaluation of environmental programmes and projects; and
  4. Development of strategies, evaluative frameworks, and toolkits
